Introducing the packages
Here's a short summary of our various ad packages. We do sell individual ads starting as low as $100 per ad [Rates].

That said, we strongly recommend you go with one of our full-year programs below, because purchased as a package, they're way less expensive. This gives you substantially more coverage for much less cost. One of the reasons we've put these packages together is that they give strong, consistent ROI. On the average, you're getting a 70-80% discount by buying the package offers.

These packages are a win/win, benefitting both our advertisers and us. For the advertiser, the consistency and much broader exposure, guaranteed through the year, means a much more consistent and predictable ROI at a substantially lower overall cost. Our advantage is that there's far less management hassle on a single buy and we can really predict our inventory through the year. That's important to us, so it's worth giving a substantial discount.

The power of the mix
As has been the case in traditional media, readers respond to a message over time, and in a variety of formats.

When a prospect is reading an article, a message that's pure text is exceedingly powerful. When a prospect is scanning for some quick information, graphics in banners and mailers catch attention, but it's up to the Web site and accompanying text to keep interest and turn a prospect into a customer.

A purchasing need doesn't always become apparent at the moment a potential prospect sees the ad. It's often much later, when an assignment is given or a problem needs to be solved, that an individual remembers seeing an ad, but doesn't remember the details. That's why consistent repetition of ad messages is such a powerful strategy.

We limit the number of ads displayed to give you the best exposure
For each of our four ad types, we limit the number of ads placed in a given publication. Our weekly update mailings are limited to a maximum of ten mailing text/graphic ads and ten Quick Clicks. Our Web site will run a maximum of 20 rotations for both Web site banner ads and leaderboards, combined. And we will run a maximum of 20 text ads on the Web site.

Contrast this with most of our competitors, who cram as many advertisers as they can into their publications, and you'll begin to see why we've earned our reputation for providing such a quality, high-value advertising experience.

And now, the packages
Each of these packages are designed for different budgets and needs. Choose the one that fits you the best. Each plan is for 12 months. For example, you sign up before April, you'd run from April 2005 through March 2006.

Marketing Power Package (our most popular package)
$7,000, paid one-time for the full year ($23,800 value), includes:

  • Weekly Update Text Ad with graphic, ad position shuffles with other advertisers in this program (48 run - 4 per month, $17,800 value)
  • Constant presence with 1 rotation (10% of all traffic) of Web page text ad throughout the year (12 run, $3,000 value)
  • Constant presence with 1 rotation (5% of all traffic) of Web page banner throughout the year (12 run, $3,000 value)
  • Upgrade option: Upgrade banner rotation to leaderboard rotation -- leaderboards are 728x90, approximately twice the size of banners -- for an additional one-time prepayment of $1,000 (a $3,000 value)
  • DominoPower sold out for 2007! Two remaining for 2008.

The Month-by-Month Zero Risk Subscription Plan -- no risk, powerful impact
Although advertising in the ZATZ magazines is a proven win, you might be the type of person who likes to keep your options open and prepay as you go. For you, we've got the Month-by-Month Zero Risk Plan.

This plan gives you a powerful ad campaign in a mix of media (both text and graphics, on our Web site and in our Weekly Updates), but costs you only $500 per month (a $700 value) and you can cancel at any time. Here's what you get:

  • A Weekly Update 20-Word Quick Click Ad, ad position shuffles with other participants in this program (2 per month, $200 value per month)
  • Constant presence with 1 rotation (10% of all traffic) of Web page text ad throughout each month ($250 value per month)
  • Constant presence with 1 rotation (5% of all traffic) of Web page banner ($250 value per month)
  • DominoPower sold out for 2007!

This program is great because you control how long it runs. The way it works is simple. We charge your card on the 20th of each month for the next month's ads. If you want to cancel your program you can do so at any time; just let us know by the 10th of the month before the ad runs. It'll run only as long as you want, with a great discount and no commitment. One of our current advertisers called this "an advertiser's dream."

Top-Shelf Splash Package
$8,000, paid one-time for the full year ($27,600 value). Includes:

  • Weekly Update Text Ad with graphic, Position 1, one week per month (12 run - 1 per month, $15,000 value)
  • Weekly Update Quick Click (10 word ad), on the remaining three weeks of each month (36 run - 3 per month, $3,600 value)
  • Constant presence with 1 rotation (10% of all traffic) of Web page text ad throughout the year (12 run, $3,000 value)
  • Constant presence with 1 rotation (5% of all traffic) of Web page leaderboard throughout the year (12 run, $6,000 value -- leaderboards are 728x90, approximately twice the size of banners
  • Upgrade option: Upgrade one, two, or three QuickClicks to Weekly Update Text Ads with graphic, Position 1 for an additional $4,000 per upgrade ($11,400 value)

Budget-Palooza Package
$6,000, paid one-time for the full year ($28,800 value). Includes:

  • Weekly Update Quick Click (10 word ad), on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th of each month (48 run - 4 per month, $4,800 value)
  • Constant presence with 1 rotation of Web page text ad throughout the year (12 run, $12,000 value)

Personalized Email Blasts
$3,500 each mailing. Includes:

  • Create your own HTML or text email message and we'll mail it to the full readership of the magazine.
  • List management and transmission included in the price
  • We also handle unsubscribe management
  • Upgrade option: Apply your suppression list to the personalized mailing for an additional $1,000 [Details]

Quarterly Partner Shoutout Package
$10,000, paid one-time for four blasts ($14,000 value). Includes:

Sponsor Article Advertorial
$7,500 each article. Includes:

  • Full (up to 1,500 words) article in a specified magazine. To prevent confusion with our journalistic editorial, all sponsor articles begin with the words "FROM OUR SPONSOR".
  • You write the article and we edit according to our publishing and editorial style standards.
  • Article becomes part of our perpetual online library of articles, indexed, searchable, listed in back issues.
  • An individual in your company gets an article byline, a bio is published with the article, and an author page is created in our online author database.
  • Sponsor article has a link on the home page of the specified magazine for up to one month.
  • Sponsor article is promoted with a one-paragraph description in the associated Weekly Update mailing (the mailing that comes out when the article is published).
  • Sponsor article is promoted as a "New Article" in the specified magazine's RSS news feed and on the magazine's news page.
  • Upgrade option: Add one or more logos or screenshots to the article for $1,500 each.
  • Upgrade option: Add additional 500 words (up to 4,000 word max) to the article for $500 each 500 words additional (over the base 1,500 words provided)
  • Note: because the sponsor article becomes part of our perpetual editorial offering, all sponsor articles are subject to approval of our editorial team prior to publishing. All sponsor articles must be clearly marked as "FROM OUR SPONSOR" to be clear to readers.

Solid-Gold Sponsorship Package
$120,000 paid one-time for the full year or $45,000 paid each quarter, for the full year (Value $241,200+)

  • Magazine logo (on Web site and in Weekly Update mailings) modified to include "Sponsored by" and your name or logo. (Value: priceless)
  • Weekly Update Text Ad with graphic, Position 1, each week (48 run - 4 per month, $60,000 value)

$60,000 paid one-time for the full year or $22,500 paid each quarter, for the full year (Value $117,600+)

  • Similar to Solid-Gold package but does not contain second Weekly Update ad and has 6 personalized email blasts instead of 12.
  • Magazine logo (on Web site and in Weekly Update mailings) modified to include "Sponsored by" and your name or logo. (Value: priceless)
  • Weekly Update Text Ad with graphic, Position 1, each week (48 run - 4 per month, $60,000 value)
  • Constant presence with 10 rotations (50% of all traffic) of Web page leaderboard throughout the year (12 run, $60,000 value) -- leaderboards are 728x90, approximately twice the size of banners
  • Constant presence with 10 rotations (100% of all traffic) of Web page text ad throughout the year (12 run, $30,000 value)
